Ethical and responsible business policy

Evergen Systems Limited, trading as “Evergen Power” is committed to operating our business responsibly and ethically. We believe in contributing to a sustainable future not just through solar energy, but also through our social and environmental practices. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy outlines our key areas of focus, ongoing commitment, and specific goals for year one.

Human trafficking and modern slavery policy

Evergen Systems trading as “Evergen Power” is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards throughout our solar energy production in accordance with UK legislation. We have zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking (collectively referred to as “modern slavery”) within our operations and supply chain. This policy outlines our ongoing efforts to ensure the ethical sourcing and production of solar products.

Complaints Handling Process

The company will ensure all relevant staff are trained well to identify and handle complaints, and to understand the importance of our complaint management system. We will receive the complaint and consider them as an opportunity to learn, adapt, improve, and provide a better service. A quick resolution of a complaint, in a way that respects and values the person’s feedback, will help recover the persons confidence in our products and services.  It can also help prevent further escalation of the complaint.  A responsive, efficient, and fair complaint management procedure will help us achieve this.

Vulnerable Customers Policy

This policy sets out the approach to identifying and interacting with vulnerable customers to ensure fair customer outcomes. A “fair customer outcome” is a wide definition and does not just relate to providing the wrong goods and services, it includes instances which cause or could cause distress and inconvenience. The purpose of this policy document is to define what constitutes a vulnerable customer; how customers will achieve a fair outcome; details the controls that ensure adherence to the vulnerable customer policy and how vulnerable customer consideration will be used to drive business improvements.
